Today our team met up again to continue building the hull. We first filed down the sides of the fiber glass that we had glued down last week. And after finalizing and checking that the frame was good to go, we placed the bottom and side planks on top of the frame. Looping zip-ties through the holes on the seams helped us get the shape that the boat will ultimately have. Lastly, we mixed up a wood epoxy paste to start closing up the crevices in between the wood. Once the epoxy is completely dry, we'll be able to remove the zip-ties and layer more wood epoxy on those areas that weren't covered.
